Broken Notification Tray Icons

Yeah, I hate this one too. Where that network thing is blank, or battery, or you just open that tray and its empty?

Anyways, yeah do this thing.

1. Regedit. Win+R regedit, search, however you want to accomplish that part
2. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\TrayNotify
3. Blow out IconStreams and PastIconStreams
4. Either kill explorer.exe and restart it (Task Manager is your friend, you could do whatever method you want) or just reboot if you're lazy and don't care.
5. Profit?
