Getting the Attribute Editor tab for Active Directory users
So, all articles on this kind of really suck. So here, have this.
Go grab ASDIEdit (from here, because hyperlink bro).
- Open up ADSIEdit.msc (whatever method you want, you maniac you. Likely just Win+R then things.)
- Click "Connect to" under Actions
- Defaults, because defaults. Just click "Configuration" in the middle of the things for the naming context
- Expand the Config Branch for the domain and then the CN=Display Specifiers container
- CN=409 because you're reading this properly, right? If you can read this, and you understand it, yet you need something else (I find that unlikely but you know, languages and whatnot) then there's more codes here
- CN=user-Display
- Double click AdminPropertyPages
- Paste this string without quotes "11,{c7436f12-a27f-4cab-aaca-2bd27ed1b773}" under "Value to add"
- Click "Add", "OK", and "OK".
- Profit?
