M365 Hard Matching
Yeah, its a thing. I know my readmes and pages here are very sparse. But you know, you have to start somewhere. Anyways, Hard Matching. Just, do yourself a favor and don't create the M365 user first. But if you do, well, this is always here. Have fun, don't die.
Really, what happens is you need to grab the things for the AD user, rip it out of M365 before a sync syncs it back, then change the GUID of the actual M365 user to match it. Once you do, it will sync up properly. This script should do all the hard work for you, because PowerShell is magical.
WARNING: I have not production tested this as I have not had to hard match in a while. I cobbled this together from the last one I did, hopefully it doesn't bork your M365.
